Barcelona were unable to defeat Italian side, Napoli in their Europa League playoff game at the Camp Nou on Thursday night, as the game ended in a draw.
The Catalans were making their first appearance in the Europa League for the first time in 18 years, after failing to make the cut for the Champions League round of 16.
Zielinski handed the Italians the lead before the half hour, but Barcelona found their way back into the game after Juan Jesus handled the ball in the penalty box, Ferran Torres would convert the resulting penalty to make it 1:1.
Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen started up top for the men from Naples, but was unable to get on the scoresheet and was eventually withdrawn.
Barcelona will now travel to Italy for the return leg on the 24th of February, hoping hoping book their place in the round of 16.
