A member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Mudashiru Baraka, has been reportedly assassinated. He was said to have been killed by rival political thugs on Wednesday morning in Oyo town. The residents of Ijagba, Imoru and Arimogija in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State have raised the alarm over the incessant attacks on the communities by suspected killer-herdsmen. The average cost of airplane tickets in Nigeria rose from N37,022.97 in November 2021 to N73,267.57 in November 2022, the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Monday. This represents an increase of 97.09 percent, according to the NBS’ Transport Fare Watch report for November 2022. The Labour Party, LP, has appointed former Political Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Akin Osuntokun as the new Director General of its Presidential Campaign. This was confirmed by the party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, in Abuja, on Tuesday.
