The Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency election in Kano State has been deemed a victory for Alhassan Doguwa, the majority leader of the House of Representatives. The legislator received 41,573 votes, according to Independent National Electoral Commission Returning Officer Sani Ibrahim, who announced the results on Saturday. He defeated his nearest rival, Yushau Salisu of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, who received 34,831 votes.Doguwa will be serving his fifth term when the 10th assembly is inaugurated in June.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) appears to be pleased and is prepared to maintain its previous policy directions in light of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) flat rate prediction for Nigeria’s economic growth rate in 2023 and 2024.
