A court in Ibadan has sentenced two young men to prison for impersonation and internet fraud. The two men, Ojo Gbenga Stephen and Emekhe Michael Ese were reportedly sentenced by Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, Oyo on Monday. This was disclosed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on their official twitter handle. The Federal Government has ordered all civil servants to leave work by 1pm on Tuesday. This is because of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana scheduled for evening time on Tuesday. According to the circular issued by the Head of Service of the Federation, the early closure of offices on Tuesday is to help garner support for the Super Eagles.
