Newly elected Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has flagged off the Operation Cleanup Onitsha campaign. The Governor arrived the commercial hub of the state around 11:30am on Saturday to flag off the 3-day exercise that seeks to rid the big city of its dirt. Soludo and his team supervised areas around Obiano Park, Upper Iweka areas of Onitsha South, through Fegge, Ochanja market, and Ochanja roundabout. A Christian Church known as Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN) based in the North Eastern part of the country has cried out about what it has termed persecution. A Federal High Court sitting in Calabar, Cross River State, presided over by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has convicted one Obed Chukwuemeka Great, a Student of the University of Calabar, and 13 others for offences bordering on criminal impersonation with intent to defraud.
