A Kaduna Magistrates’ Court has arraigned a 30-year-old woman, Helen James, for allegedly stealing an iPhone 12 worth N375, 000. The defendant, who lives in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, is charged with theft. A Lexus ES350 with the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) registration number IMO 44 was among other items recovered from 36 suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as “Yahoo Boys” arrested by operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. It is not clear whether a member of the NYCN was among the suspects. On Wednesday Monday, two men met their end at the hands of an angry mob in Lagos, after they were burnt to death. The incident, it was gathered, occurred in the morning of Wednesday after the victims were caught with 18 mobile phones at Cele, Lagos. Three people have been reportedly killed by suspected cultists in Inen community of Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. The attack victims were robbed of their possessions before they were killed when the miscreants raided the community on motorbikes on Tuesday.
