The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested Nigeria’s Accountant General, Ahmed Idris for an alleged N80bn fraud. Switch Nigeria broke the news earlier of the arrest, although details were still scanty. Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseas of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Church said he is relocating the family of Deborah Samuel, who was killed and burnt in Sokoto state to Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Government of Kaduna State, on Saturday, banned all forms of protests related to religious activities in the state. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan. Aruwan said the ban which is with immediate effect, was done in consultation with the State Security Council.
