Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum on Saturday traveled to Kirawa, a border community in Gwoza Local Government Area, to supervise the resettlement of 2,500 displaced families into their homes which were rebuilt by the state government. The homes were destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents during their occupation, forcing residents to become internally displaced in Pulka, another town in Gwoza, and to take refuge in neighboring Cameroon. On Thursday, a cybercrimes expert, Whyte Dein told the Federal High Court in Lagos that a forensic investigation by his team links hip-hop singer, Naira Marley with Visa card fraud. Mr. Dein, who is the Chief Detective Officer and Head of the Cybercrime Section of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was testifying before Justice Nicholas Oweibo in Naira Marley’s trial when he said this. An Ondo State High Court has sentenced 3 men to death for the murder of one Mrs. Funke Olakurin back in 2019. It all happened on July 12, 2019, when the then 58-year-old Funke was driving to Akure from Lagos when she was attacked and shot by the armed herdsmen on the Benin-Sagamu expressway.
