Police in Delta State have arrested suspected arms dealers and recovered six locally made guns and 114 live cartridges. According to a statement by the State Police Command Spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, a 80-year-old suspect, Omoraka James was arrested in Kokori on Thursday, for allegedly selling cartridges to criminals. “The suspect’s premises was raided by the Command Raider’s Unit on the strength of an information received that he deals in Cartridges, sells to hoodlums which they use in carrying out various nefarious activities. The Nigerian Army says its troops have intercepted another school girl abducted in by Boko Haram terrorists in April 2014 from the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok in Borno State. This was disclosed in a terse statement posted on the facebook page of the Nigerian Army on Thursday evening. The Nigerian Army has announced that one of the Chibok Girls has been found with a child around the Gwoza area of Borno State. Mary Ngoshe, alongside her child were found by soldiers of the Army’s 36th Task Force Brigade, wandering around the Ngoshe forest in the Gwoza Local Government Area of southern Borno on June 14, 2022.
