Gunmen have reportedly abducted a Roman Catholic priest, Father Emmanuel Silas of the St. Charles Catholic Church, Zambina, in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. An unknown vandal has met his waterloo while trying to cut transformer cables at Amoji-Ukwu village, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State. The Abia State Police command confirmed this through its Spokesman, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna.
