A security agent with one of Nigeria’s security forces, Ibrahim Ishaku, has recalled a most shocking ordeal he experienced while on duty in Onitsha, a city in Anambra State. Ishaku was reacting to a post made by a writer and social crusader, Bala Baba Dihis on his facebook page about Onitsha, on Thursday. More than 26, 000 internally displaced people(IDP) in the Borno State town of Rann have received food relief from the United Nations. According to the UN spokesman Farhan Haq speaking in New York City on Wednesday, this came courtesy of their partners. Amidst the rising death toll of victims of the Owo Church attack, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has signed into law an amendment to the Amotekun code in Ondo State. The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, secured the conviction of Peter Darshewa Felix, Benjamin Johnson and John Jacob before Justice A.A Bello of the Kaduna State High Court. The trio were all arrested in a sting operation for their alleged involvement in cybercrime.
