The presidential flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has wished his rival, Peter Obi of Labour Party a happy birthday. The former Anambra State Governor turned 61 on Tuesday. Atiku said in a tweet, “On behalf of my family, I wish my good friend, presidential candidate of the LP, and former Governor of Anambra State, @PeterObi, a memorable 61st birthday celebration. Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police Baba Usman has ordered the probe of controversial singer, Mr. Portable after he posted a video claiming he founded One Million Boys cult group. Recall that Switch Nigeria reported yesterday that the Zazu Zeh singer said he founded the notorious cult group terrorising Lagos. He had said he also founded Ajah Boys. However, the singer released another video yesterday night claiming that what he meant was One Million fans, not Boys. The Nigerian economy has being struggling for years now, a struggle that got worse when President Muhammadu Buhari took over in 2015. The economic downturn has reflected in an exponential drop in the value of the Naira, from N190 per $1 to N620 per $1. In addition, Nigeria’s debts are well over N34 trillion, with the debts growing more than 176% since Buhari assumed office. In that six year period, between 2015 and 2021, N20.8 trillion has been borrowed. That figure is very high especially when you consider that before his tenure began, the country’s debt was just N12.12 trillion.…

Habeeb Okikiola, AKA Mr. Portable has posted a video clip boasting about being the founder of criminal gangs in the West. The controversial singer posted the clip on Instagram only to later delete it. The Government of Zamfara State have suspended the Emir of Sabon Birnin Yandoto of Tsafe local Government Area of the state, Aliyu Garba Marafa for turbaning repentant bandit leader, Adamu Aliero. This suspension notice was contained in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Kabiru Balarabe on Sunday night. Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh has passed on. The 47-year-old passed on on Sunday night after she slumped at the residence of an oil company employee where she was a guest for the night. The actress who recently said she was suffering with mental illness and sometimes even has suicidal thoughts, was known for her comic roles in the sitcom, The Johnsons. She also acted the 1996 classic, Domitila, where she played the role of Anita. Born on May 15, 1974 in Ajegunle, Lagos, Ms. Ameh was rushed to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s Hospital. The head pastor and founder of Citadel Global Community Church (formerly called The Latter Rain Assembly), Pastor Tunde Bakare has stated that there’s no problem with a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
