A dismissed soldier, Sgt. Ado Kabiru appears to have gotten a new profession, as the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Wednesday, arraigned him before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri. The Certificate of Return is the formal notice of an election victory in Nigeria. A wire fraud suspect, also known as “Yahoo Yahoo”, Fatade Idowu Olamilekan on wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, was on Thursday July 14, 2022, extradited to the United States for allegedly stealing over Three Million, Five Hundred Thousand United State Dollars ($3.5M) worth of equipment in various cities across the US. President Buhari has ordered the Nigerian Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu to end the ASUU strike within two weeks. The president met with the Education Minister and other relevant ministers like Chris Ngige, Minister for Labour in Abuja on Tuesday. The ongoing strike has been on since February, with the Academic Staff Union of Universities maintaining that the strike will only end when the Federal Government complies or meets their demands. The Nigerian Labour Congress recently held a protest in regard to the prolonged strike.
President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled the new logo for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC). Buhari unveiled the new logo on Tuesday in Abuja.
