The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has announced that it will sue the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for refusing to extend the continuous voter registration exercise. In a statement released on their Twitter handle, SERAP said about 7 million Nigerians have been disenfranchised. The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari has joined Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State in charging his people to carry arms and defend themselves. The United States have killed al-Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed in a US drone strike on July 31st in Afghanistan.
