The Lagos State Police Command have called on members of the public to desist from carrying out jungle justice. This became necessary after the Command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin reported of an incident that took place on Wednesday on Eko Bridge. A total of seventeen suspected internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo Boys” have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos zonal command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren. According to the EFCC statement, the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
