Police in Lagos have recovered a supposedly stolen car from some persons after they were stopped for a routine search. The spokesman for the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the suspects ran away leaving the car behind before they could be apprehended. “Yesterday, at about 2:30am, a black 2002 Toyota Camry V6 saloon car, with reg no JJJ 367 FJ, with about three occupants, was flagged down by officers of Ijora-Badia Division on routine patrol. An Igbo man in his thirties has been arrested by the Surulere Division of Lagos State Police Command for phone theft. The man whose name was given as Ifeanyi Odieze Ezenagu is said to have robbed over 30 women since he took to stealing phones. This was made known in a statement released by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of Lagos State Police Command on Saturday evening. The statement said Ifeanyi commits his crimes by luring his victims which are always ladies to hotels, where he drugs them and then steals their phones. A woman, Agnes Chieshe, the CEO and manager of Movic Restaurants in Abuja who was declared missing on April 21, 2022 has regained her freedom. Mrs. Chieshe, a younger sister to serial Benue State governorship contestant, Pharmacist Peter Chieshe appeared on Brekete Family radio to disclose her ordeal at the hands of the Kidnapper.
