Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has opted to pay for the rebuilding of a church that was gutted by in his native, Egypt. Salah, a Muslim, who is the highest paid Liverpool player donated 3 million Egyptian pounds, the equivalent of £156, 664. This sum translates to 79,288,592 Nigerian Naira, at the current exchange rate. Reports confirm that a church located in Giza, Egypt went up in flames on Sunday, killing 41 people in the process. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture has told a House of Representatives’ committee that it spent N18.9 billion on bush clearing during the COVID-19 lockdown. Data has revealed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has allowed ASUU strike to last the longest since democracy returned in 1999. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said it has recovered an additional sum of One Billion, Four Hundred Million Naira (N1.4 Billion) for the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.
