Three young girls have reportedly drowned in a pond in Faskarau, Jae community in Kaugama Local Government Area of Jigawa. It was gathered that the girls, Maryam Salisu(10 years), Bahayura Lawan(10 years) and Lawisa Sule(8 years) died in the pond on Monday after they decided to bath after washing their clothes. The government of Qatar has refused President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to visit the Middle Eastern country. According to a document released by Sahara Reporters, the Arabian nation dismissed the request on grounds that the application came too late. Mr. Buhari was asked to apply again in 2023. A little girl and four other persons have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident in Anambra State. Nigerians have expressed mixed feelings to the news that operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 17 suspected internet fraudsters. Similar arrests have constantly being in the news and Nigerians are beginning to see a pattern, especially as despite the many arrests, the prevalence of internet fraudsters has only increased.
