Operatives of Lagos State Police Command stepped in to save a two man gang from being lynched by an angry mob in Yaba. According to a tweet by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the men nearly lost their lives after they stole generator cables. President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday arrived South Eastern State of Imo to commission some projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodinma. On Tuesday, some aggrieved University students laid siege to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The students blocked the inter-state highway to protest the lingering ASUU strike that has been on since February. The leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have refused to back down until their demands are met by the Federal Government. On Monday, gun man shot and killed American rapper, Rakim Hasheem Allen popularly known as PnB Rock at a restaurant in South Los Angeles, United States. The incident took place at Roscoes’s House of Chicken & Waffles, after his girlfriend posted a picture, complete with their location, on Instagram.
