The Academic Staff Union of Universities have been ordered by the National Industrial Court to call off its strike. Switch Nigeria reports that the academic body has been on strike since February. The lecturers have, amongst other things, been trying to get the Federal Government to improve the funding for universities and review salaries for lecturers. However, the Federal Government and the ASUU have so far failed to reach an agreement. Thr Oyo State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old suspect, Tosin Kolade, who raped and muredered a 17-year-old girl, Ifeoluwa Apanpa, inside a church at Olodo area of Ibadan, the state capital. The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, better known as San Siro is set to be completely demolished. The both teams occupying the ground, AC Milan and Internazionale(Inter Milan) have agreed to do away with the iconic stadium and build another super stadium on the same site. The daughter-in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari, Zahra B. Buhari, bagged a first class in Architectural Science from a university in United Kingdom. The wife of the President, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, shared photos from the graduation ceremony on her Facebook page on Tuesday. She wrote, “Congratulations to Mrs. Zahra B. Buhari on your graduation with First Class Honors in Architectural Science. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer has said his client is currently suffering a health problem.
