The following suspects were apprehended while conveying skuchies during the stop and search: Francis Friday (Male) aged 30, Kemi Adeyemo (Female) aged 35 years and Nonso Orji (Male) aged 22 years. An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has convicted and sentenced sixty-six, 66, internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo Boys” to various jail terms, ranging from two weeks, four months, and six months of community service to ten months imprisonment. Nigeria’s electricity grid has again collapsed, resulting in blackouts across the country. It is still not clear how many states are affected by the current collapse, as there has been no official announcement from the national level. The Federal Government has ordered the vice chancellors of universities to return to the classroom. The order by the Federal is directed to vice-chancellors, pro chancellors and chairmen of governing councils of federal universities. The order was issued by the Director, Finance and Accounts of the NUC, Sam Onazi. “Ensure that ASUU members immediately resume/commence lectures; Restore the daily activities and routines of the various University campuses”, the letter partly reads. On Wednesday, the National Industrial Court issued a similar order to ASUU, but the latter refused to heed the order.
