A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has given Labour Party supporters the green light to go ahead with their planned rally scheduled for October 1st. The ruling however stated that the #ObiDatti23 Forward Ever Rally must not converge at Lekki Tollgate. Olajumoke Fafemi, for allegedly defrauding 23 (twenty three) church members seeking employment. Fafemi, a staff of Kwara State Ministry of Finance, was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Sani of the Federal High Court, sitting in Ilorin on Monday, September 26, 2022 on four -count charges, bordering on employment and Hajj pilgrimage scam. Obi said on Twitter, “Today, I paid a courtesy call on the Oni of Ife, HRM Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. It was a very convivial and pleasant visit. An unnamed father and one other person narrowly survived lynching by an angry mob in a park in Lagos State following their rescue by police operatives after they were seen with the corpse of a five (5) years old boy. Samuel Ortom, the Governor of Benue State has chosen to side with embattled Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu. Asked whether he supports the clamour for the removal of Ayu as Party chairman, Ortom who was formerly of the APC, said it is impossible for him to support the removal of the man he supported for the job.
