The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has released a statement confirming a court ruling that mandates forfeiture of properties by former minister of petroleum resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. In the early hours of Monday, 24th October 2022, drivers and passengers plying the Katsin-Ala- Takum Road, Benue State, staged a peaceful protest against excessive Police extortion. The commercial road users said enough is enough, insisting that they are tired of being extorted of their hard earned money by corrupt policemen deployed along that route to beef up security.
