The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a notorious member of the dreaded Eiye confraternity, Olamide Olabode. The command disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday and posted on its Twitter handle. It said Olamide was nabbed by operatives on way to launch an attack with other members of his group. Police in Imo State seized three rifles, a Toyota Sienna bus and killed a man when a police check point came under attack on Thursday. In a statement released by SP Michael Abattam, the PRO of the Imo State Police Command, five of the six man gang ran away into the nearby bushes.
