The Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) have been paid half salaries by the Federal Government, Switch Nigeria can confirm. The payment was only for 18 days of the month of October. Recall that ASUU called off their 8 months long strike on October 14. According a senior member of the Union, “We were only paid for the days after the strike. I received a half salary. Former Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan as been shot in the leg. Supporters have claimed the incident was meant to be fatal, an assassination attempt. He was leading protests for snap elections in the capital of Islamabad on Thursday when the incident took place.
