The incident which took place on Saturday involved one Elom Agbegninou aboard a flight from Ohio to Texas, in the United States. Officials of the Nigerian Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested one Onyeaghalachi Stephen Nwagwugwu, on allegations of being a major supplier of illicit drug in the South-East and South-South parts of the country. This was made known via the agency’s official Facebook page in a statement signed by the Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi on Tuesday. The Independent National Electoral Commission has said it won’t allow collection of PVC by proxy. This was made known by The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kebbi State, Alhaji Ahmad Bello-Mahmud. Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria, he said, “For you to get your PVC, you have to personally come forward and collect it yourself. We have emphasised this in a lot of forum, workshops among others. “Distribution of voter cards by proxy is no longer acceptable. What we have now is personal collection.
