The district head of Yankuzo, Alhaji Hamza Abdullahi Kogo of Tsafe Emirate has been reportedly shot and killed by gunmen. It was gathered the incident took place on Friday, while the Zamfara state monarch was on his way back from a function. In trying to abduct him, he was severely shot and wounded, the same injuries that would later kill him.
