The All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained why Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Labour Minister Chris Ngige aren’t campaigning for the party’s Presidential candidate — Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Since the APC’s presidential campaign officially began on November 15, 2022, in Jos, some party members, including the Vice President, have not been seen campaigning for their party’s nominee.

Justice E. A. Obile of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has convicted and sentenced an oil thief, Onichabor Jude, to two years in the Correctional Service for illegal dealing in petroleum products. The offence contravenes Section 1(17) (a) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, and is punishable under section 1 (17) (b) of the same Act.
