Nigerian man who went viral for producing electric cars in Borno on a shoestring budget, has launched a factory in Abuja to produce 2000 units of the electric vehicles.The man, Mustapha Gajibo, named the vehicles “Kaande.”According to Mr. Gajibo, “our Abuja mega factory have commenced operations with manufacturing of the “KAANDE” model, the factory is set to produce 2000 units of this model the first year.

According to Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele, there won’t be any further extensions to the deadline for presenting old notes whose redesigned counterparts are now in use. Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have commenced an investigation of Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin, an actress and cosmetologist, for allegedly tampering with the redesigned Naira notes, an offcence contrary to Section 21 (5) of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Act, 2007.
