The Federal Government has said the issues behind the lingering ASUU strike have no quick fix.
They made this known after Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.
This was disclosed by Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, who defended the Federal Government saying they are committed to ending the prolonged strike.
He however noted that settling with the lecturers is not as straightforward as Nigerians think.
“We’re worried, we’re concerned, and we’ll continue to work towards finding an early resolution of the problem,” Lai Mohammed said in his exchanges with State House correspondents.
