Nigerian International forward Asisat Oshoala scored three goals as FC Barcelona defeated La Planas 7-0 in a Spanish women super league round 16 fixture on Wednesday evening.
Despite injury scare, the 28-year-old Super Falcons star featured for the full 90 minutes as her side stretched their lead at the top of the table to seven points with a game in hand.
Switzerland defender Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic gave Barcelona the lead in the eight minute before Asisat Oshoala got her first on the evening courtesy of an assist from the Swiss defender 17 minutes later as the host took a two-goal lead.
Crnogorcevic, then registered her second on the night as Barcelona stretched their lead to 3-0 into the halftime break.
Victoria Lopez made it 4-0 in the 48th minute as Oshoala completed her hattrick with two goals in seven minutes to put Barcelona 6-0 up on the night for her 12th and 13th goal of the season.
Mariona Caldentey then rounded off the scoring for the hosts 7-0 16 minutes before time as FC Barcelona extended their winning run to 50 games in the league and nine in all competitions.
