Arsenal visited Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night on the back of four losses in five games and ended up winning the contest as they beat Chelsea 2:4.
Mikel Arteta started Eddie Nketiah in the number 9 role, benching Lacazette and the men in red wasted no time to take the lead.
Nketiah opened the scoring in the 13th minute, before Timo Werner drew Thomas Tuchel’s men level with a deflected effort that Ramsdale could have saved.
Emile Smith Rowe who got a first start in a long while again restored the visitor’s lead in the 27th minute, before Azpilicueta again leveled for the Blues. It would end in a stalemate in the first half.
However, Nketiah would again punish his former side, putting another past Mendy, before Saka won a penalty late on, after Azpilicueta pushed the youngster down, in what was rather an unnecessary challenge. The Arsenal Number 10 would convert the resultant spot kick, sending Arsenal to 57 points, same with fourth placed Spurs.
