Argentina has been tipped to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
This will excite Lionel Messi fans but not so much Cristiano Ronaldo fans since it will mean the PSG forward will be retiring from international football with a World Cup trophy, while Ronaldo will retire without one.
Both players are believed to be retiring after this tournament.
But how eligible is this prediction? Well, EA Sports who made the prediction also predicted the following countries as winners and they got it right:
Spain in 2010, Germany in 2014, France in 2018 and for
2022, they have chosen Argentina.
The simulation showed that the South Americans will come out triumphant against fellow South Americans, Brazil, with a narrow 1:0 win.

As can be seen, EA SPORTS has got every World Cup winner right since 2010 using FIFA simulations. It’s predicted Argentina to lift the trophy next month using FIFA 23.
If the 7 time Ballon d’Or winner does win the World Cup, it will be a fitting end to an illustrious career.
