The Benue State governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Mr. Titus Uba has donated a gate to his alma-mater.
Uba who is the sitting Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly made this known in a tweet he posted on Monday.
In the pictures he posted, it could be seen that the gate he donated was attached to no fence.
Uba, attended Mount Saint Michael Secondary School Aliade. He promised to do more for the school if elected governor of the state.
He said in his tweet, “This gate project is my modest way of giving back to my Alma-mater, because the institution laid the foundation for the successes I have recorded in life.
I will do more for the school if elected governor of Benue State.”
However, his followers found his gesture rather amusing, while others praised him.
Uba is the candidate heavily backed by sitting governor, Mr. Samuel Ortom.
