Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has issued a directive to terminate the appointments of all Consultants, Service Providers, and Contractors engaged in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) enforcement and collection by the Niger State Internal Revenue Service and Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) with immediate effect.
The decision aims to improve the efficiency and transparency of revenue collection processes in the state.
The Governor’s administration seeks to establish a more organized and accountable revenue generation system to promote sustainable economic growth.
All affected individuals are requested to return Government properties and relevant documents to their respective organizations’ authorities promptly.
