Aisha Buhari, the first lady of Nigeria, has expressed faith in President-elect— Bola Tinubu’s capacity to lead the nation to continued unity, peace, and growth.
The first lady expressed hope that Tinubu would work tirelessly to create the Nigeria of everyone’s dreams in a message of congratulations she signed on Wednesday in Abuja.
“It is my conviction that the Tinubu-Shettima Presidency will lead this country into the future that our founding fathers envisioned,” she declared.
The president-elect’s vision, dexterity and excellent intents to advance all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or religious origin, according to Mrs Buhari, were responsible for the election’s triumph.
She also expressed gratitude to all Nigerians, particularly women, for their contributions to the party’s electoral success.
The first lady congratulated her successor, Oluremi Tinubu, and expressed confidence in the advancement of Nigerian women under her leadership.
