Ademola Adeleke’s son, Adesina Adeleke, popularly known as Sina Rambo, has insisted that his father will continue to serve as Governor of Osun State.
The singer made this claim via his IG story a few hours after it was reported that the Tribunal court ordered the annulment of his father’s win against Gboyega Oyetola at Osun Gubernatorial election last year.
Reacting to the judgement, Sina Rambo said, “Two judgments were issued today at the tribunal. One in favour of PDP. Nothing changed. Sen. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State.
“We move to the appeal court. Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen. H.E.Ademola Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State.”
Governor Adeleke has also calmed the good people of Osun State, imploring them to stay calm amidst the ongoing crisis.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on our people to remain calm. We will appeal the judgement and we are sure justice will be done. Let everyone be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate. God bless Osun!” the Governor tweeted.
