The Adamawa state government has committed to addressing the long-standing issue of water scarcity in Yola, the state capital.
The Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Auwal Tukur, emphasized the importance of water for life and revealed that proactive measures are being taken to improve the water supply in Yola metropolis.
The Fintiri administration prioritizes programs aimed at human and social development to ensure sustainable progress for the state. At a civic reception honouring the former Minister, of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Mohammed Bello, and the Chief of Staff, Government House, Yola, Dr Edga Amos, the officials were praised for their dedicated service to the state and the country.
The event was organized by the Old Boys Association of Sanda Primary School, Yola, and Malam Ibrahim Waziri, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, lauded the celebrants for their loyalty, selflessness, and sense of responsibility.
