Former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar has been flown abroad after falling ill.
Abubakar who was Nigeria’s last military leader, was said to have suffered a partial stroke.
According to Daily Post, he was first flown to Dubai in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) 3 weeks ago, but now at a hospital in the United Kingdom (UK).
The retired General was accompanied by his wife and former First Lady, Justice Fati Abubakar.
Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello who is also his in-law, left the country after the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary to visit him.
However, it has been confirmed that he is recuperating steadily.
