Emeka Nwajiuba, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Education has tendered his letter of resignation.
This is coming after the President Muhammadu Buhari issued a directive ordering all cabinet members and aides that have picked forms for the 2023 presidential elections to step down.
So far, cabinet members like Chris Nwabueze Ngige, Rotimi Amaechi and other political appointees under the current APC administration have all bought forms.

Here’s the full list of those expected to resign: Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, transport minister Rotimi Amaechi, Niger-Delta minister, Godswill Akpabio, labour minister Chris Ngige, science and technology minister Ogbonnaya Onu, mines minister Uche Ogar and women affairs minister Pauline Tallen.
