
Ahead of the game against ASEC Mimosa, Nigeria’s champions Rivers United has landed in Abidjan, Coted’Ivoire For the game.
The Nigerian side is currently occupying the top spot in the group owing to a superior goal difference.
The Pride of Rivers played out a 2-2 draw against the Congolese side Diable Noirs in the last group match while ASEC secured a 1-2 away win over DC Motema Pembe in Luanda, Angola.
Rivers United which departed the country in the early hours of Friday through Yamossoukorou Air Flight, landed in Abidjan on Friday afternoon around 12:41pm.
The game is fixed for Sunday, a draw will ensure that Rivers United finished on top of the group and a defeat will drop the Nigerian side to the second spot
