Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has promised to continue to position the State on the path of excellence.
Speaking after the one year anniversary of his governorship term, the former Central Bank Governor said “Today, I held a town hall meeting with my Employers – Ndi Anambra – the occasion afforded me the opportunity to present the Scorecard of my administration in 365 (one year), and to provide more insight on the road ahead.In 365 days, we have recorded interesting developmental feats, and we will continue to double efforts on the things that affect our lives positively as a people.
“I sincerely thank Ndi Anambra and friends of Anambra for their support in the last 365 days.
In attendance was Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Peter Obi, former Anambra State Governor.
Obi, on his part, prayed for Soludo to succeed, adding that politics must always go beyond partisanship.
He said, “I was in Awka, Anambra State, today for the celebration of Gov. Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s One Year in Office. As a firm believer in building a better society, I maintain that politics should transcend partisanship and be free from tribal and religious affiliations.
“We all must join hands to build a better society for all. I congratulate my very dear brother and Governor, Prof @CCSoludo, as he marks his first year in office. I will continue to pray for, and wish him well in office. May he succeed!”
