Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has won the English Premier League player of the month for February.
The 25-year-old England international who is in his best scoring run since his debut for the club in 2018 defeated Iheanacho, Leno, Rashford, Emerson Royal, Solomon and Watkins to the award.
Rashford took to his Twitter handle in delights, announcing he scooped the award to his fans and followers on Friday morning.
“Over the moon to have won the MU & PL Player Of The Month again. I couldn’t have done it without the rest of the boys and the staff. Setbacks will happen but as long as we stay focused and stay together we will always see the light at the end of the tunnel!” He wrote on Twitter.
In doing so, he becomes only the second player in English premier League history to win the award three times in a single season after Mohamed Salah (2017/18).
