Mr. Reno Omokri, a member of the People’s Democratic Party and a blogger, has commended Peter Obi for deepening Nigeria’s democracy.

Reno was commenting on the victory recorded by one Mr. Donatus Mathew, after he contested and won the Kaduna Sound Federal Constituency stool, haven previously been an Okada rider.

In a tweet posted on his verified twitter account on Saturday, Mr. Omokri said “Under Labour, an Okada rider, Donatus Mathew, won election to the House of Representatives in Kaduna. This is democracy in its purest form.

“For this, I thank Peter Obi and the Labour Party. Both of them have done much to deepen our democracy.”

Omokri had been critical of Obi before the presidential elections but has of today, posted two tweets commending Obi and Labour Party.
