After 8 years at the club, Roberto Firmino has informed Jurgen Klopp that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the current season.
With his current expiring this summer, the Brazilian spoke to Klopp today, Friday, 3rd March, 2023, about his decision.
The 31-year-old has scored a 107 goals and provided 78 assists in 352 appearances for Liverpool and is probably the most successful Brazilian striker in Premier League history, with 78 goals.
Klopp had earlier said he wanted to work with the player beyond this summer but the player has now decided to leave Liverpool.
However his destination is still undecided. During his time on Merseyside, he has picked up 6 silverware, including the Champions League and the elusive Premier League.
