Nigeria’s Flying Eagles goalkeeper Chijioke Aniagboso has stated that their focus is on clinching the World Cup ticket.

The Nigerian team will take on the Hippos of Uganda in the quarter-final of the U20 African Cup of Nations and the winner will secure a place in the FIFA World Cup in Indonesia.

While speaking on the game, the goalkeeper said they always talk about the game and their coaches have prepared them for the task ahead.

“Our focus is on that game, we talk about and sleep about the game all the time.

“We need to work so much harder than how we started like my coach said losing this match is like not even qualifying at all so I think we’re prepared with the coaches and by god grace we will go through.

“The reason we are in this competition is because of the World Cup ticket, I’m positive with my teammates and I believe we are going to get the ticket”, he said.
