U-20 AFCON: Agbalaka’s Thunderous header hands Nigeria a 1-0 victory over Egypt

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria restored their world cup ambition with an emphatic one nil win over host nation, Egypt.

The Flying Eagles victory against much determined Egyptians didn’t come easy as it took 70th minutes for Nigeria to score via a header through Solomon Agbalaka.

The tension soaked match was a win for both countries, however it was Nigeria that got the bragging rights at the end of the day.

Senegal’s victory against Mozambique automatically takes them to the top of the table while Nigeria is placed second.

The Flying Eagles will play Mozambique in the last group game and a win will brighten their world cup aspiration.

You will recall that Nigeria lost one nil against Senegal in the opening day fixture.
