A sting operation carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in collaboration with the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) have discovered a Nigerian commercial Bank has been hoarding the new Naira notes instead of paying customers.

Switch Nigeria gathered that over N287 million was discovered in the bank’s vault.

It has been alleged that many commercial banks prefer to pay politicians and the rich than disburse it to the masses.

Nigerians have been through untold hardship trying to get the new notes.
