“I’m Waiting For You to Win a Councilorship Election First, So We Can be Mates in Politics” Dogara Tells Keyamo

Former House of Representatives speaker Honourable Yakubu Dogara has chided the Minister of State for Labour Festus Keyamo for calling him a “political prostitute” and a backstabber.

The former speaker was reacting to an earlier tweet by the activist turned politician, who was in turn reacting to an earlier tweet by the speaker, wherein he mocked the appeal of President Buhari to Nigerians to vote for All Peoples Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“I know that PMB loves to crack jokes but I didn’t know he will escalate it to the level of satire. Asiwaju ‘ll give his best to Nigeria, really? Fake certificates, fake parentage, golden triangle escapades, racketeering. No PMB, Nigeria does not deserve his best but we get the satire”. He wrote.

Reacting to the tweet, Festus Keyamo called the Dogara, whom he also referred to as a brother and former law school mate a political wanderer and backstabber.

Dogara challenged the minister to win a councilorship election first to be considered his political mate and to learn to punch below his weight category.

“My brother, I have a name for you but because it’s not a good one, I won’t say it as a cost of friendship. Yes, we were mates at Law School but I am waiting for you to win a councilorship election first so we can be mates in politics. Learn to punch below your weight category”.

Honourable Yakubu Dogara recently pitched his political tent with the presidential ambition of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP), accusing the ruling APC of insensitivity and fielding a Muslim/Muslim ticket of Tinubu and Shettima.
