PDP’s Jandor vows to end Tinubu’s 24-years Monopoly over Lagos

Tinubu ad Jandor.

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, better known by the mononym, Jandor, has vowed to end Tinubu’s dominance in Lagos.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Mr. Jandor said it is time to do things differently, adding that one brain can’t be doing the thinking for the whole of Lagos.

He further accused APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for removing performing governors. He alleged that former governor Babatunde Raji Fashola was nearly removed in 2011, despite a stellar first term. He added that though Fashola survived, his successor, Akinwunmi Ambode, could not survive past the first term, all thanks to Tinubu.

“In our very first year in office, we will do a whole lot across Lagos. We need to decentralise development. Everybody comes to the centre for greener pastures but if you give the development where they are, they will actually stay there.

“We will do a whole lot because we will be coming in as independent government; the one not tied to the apron string of anybody and that will allow us to make Lagos wealth that we only hear now work for Lagos,” he said.
